Timber Sale Terms
1.) CUTTING AREAS (see map)
Stand 1: cut all orange trunk and stump marked trees
Stand 2: cut all orange trunk and stump marked trees and all soft maple
Stand 3: cut all trees over 1” DBH except conifers
Stand 3A: only cut aspen over 8” DBH, nothing else
2.) Unless a written extension is granted by the seller, all timber is to be paid for, and removed within 2 years of contract award date.
3.) A 15% deposit is to be paid at the time of the contract signing and all timber is to be paid for before any trees are cut(lump sum).
4.) Contract is to be signed within 1 month of bid opening.
5.) All roads, decking areas and skid trails must be leveled to their original condition.
6.) The Buyer must also show proof of liability insurance on his equipment and employees, and compliance with Wisconsin's Workers Compensation Statutes.
7.) Cutting may only take place during frozen soil conditions and the creek must be frozen.
8.) The landowner reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
